The game crashes at startup, after purcahing the DLC. The DLC is incomplete, and I can’t access to my original game. Re-installation doesn’t help. Any update of bug fixing for this issue?

The game is great if it were not for the constant freezing and crashes. I run the game on a 2013 MBP and it still has issues and hickups.

I dont play game for a while. This is such a rare game with depth while easy enough to play at this age of fast food cell phone game era.

I am also having the same issue as DuesExOneFan. Problem seems to have started after upgrading to Yosemite. Please help! This is my favorite game!

Great turn based game, but it still crashes OFTEN so frequent saves are a must :(

I would love to actually be able to review the game, but it crashes on startup every time.

WARNING - under OS X 10.11 El Capitan, always crashes. The game mechanics are nearly identical to the original but the graphics are decades ahead of it. I could never finish the original without cheating (in those days I hacked the binary save files to give me unlimited money - in this game if you do a web search online you will find a built-in way to make your soldiers extremely strong but even with that cheat the game is still very tough.) Im very, very impressed with the high quality graphical interface. The slo-mo cam is innovative and intense, if overused in duration. But the main reason this game is great is the original game design was so great. In fact I still pine for the original game. This revision feels too console-y. The aleins take too long to take their turns. And the original somehow scared me much more often with the surprise alien appearances. But I dont regret this purchase at all. Now that I finished it with cheating, Im going to try again with less cheating. Thanks to Sid Meier for making a game that has impacted my life.

However, the trick from what Tech Support says is to log out of Game Centre on the mac. It’s worked for me so far.

The game is great however it constantly freezes in my mac air. Over and over… game needs a patch surely.

Game hanging/blocking many times (more than 7 times) in 3h of gameplay… sometimes it is just problem with blocking UI, some times just finished accidently. Game is looks awsome, but bugs are annoing so much that I wonder if I could continue playing it

Sadly, after installation of Enemy Within, game doesn’t start on Yosemite.

Great game! Exactly what I expected. If you are aabout 30 - 35 and still remember the old Xcom form 8bit computers than you have to try it. The same feeling with almost perfect graphic and interface. On the other hand there is no sence to buy Enemy Within.

Bought it yesterday and played for 4 hours. It’s really great game, but today it just stopped working - it ‘hangs’ after the startup screen and does nothing...

Please fix it and make some update. El Capitan not supported :(

The game itself is nice, but this Mac port is horrible: - graphics settings seems not doing anything at all - game constantly crashes to desktop with no apparent reason or pattern - changing any game setting when on the base causes interface to go crazy Feral, please hire a decent QA manager and fix this horrible mess.

having postponed the release of Enemy within on Appstore for almost a month they have come out with a version that won’t even install. what a waste of money.

After upgrade the game is don’t work on 10.10 Yosemite :((( Please, make needed upgrade the game!
